Saturday (2/27/21) - Shelby came up just short vs Bellevue in the Girls Division II District Championship game, 58-52, at Arrow Arena in Ashland.
Bellevue led by as many as 16 points, but the lady Whippets rallied to take a 2 point lead in the 4th quarter, but Bellevue was able to hit a couple of big shots and key free throws late to move into the Regional Tournament. Shelby ends a great year at 17-5. The lady Whippets got 18 points from Oliva Baker, 13 from Haylee Baker and 8 from Mary Mayer. (Aired 2/27/21)
